“Sometimes when their families get in the stands that’s something that changes, and it didn’t change today. This team has been shooting the ball well and taking good shots,” said head coach Dan Monson.
Long Beach State was led by Lassina Traore with 18 points and seven boards. LBSU shot over 60% from the field and dished out 29 assists along with six team members scoring in double digits.
“I’m not going to say which because that’s our secrets, but shooting a lot after practice has been really good for getting my confidence up,” Jones said.
Jadon Jones put up 17 points along with five steals for Long Beach State University.
Cal Lutheran had four players in double digits with Brock Susko leading the Kingsmen with 13 points.
