The Anteaters had four players in double figures offensively and their top scorer was Myles Che with 19 points tallied. Jurian Dixon chipped in 10, Justin Hohn added 14, and Brent Luechten scored 13. UC Irvine appears to be on it's way to the programs third NCAA tournament dance with the most recent in 2019.
Devin Askew led all scorers for LBSU with 25 points and Kam Martin added 10. LBSU is second to last in the Big West Conference standings and needs to find new workers and successors that bring honor and value to Long Beach State not the deep shame Smitheran and Acker yield.
