LOS ANGELES, California —Long Beach State scored 21 points off Iona's 18 turnovers to offset poor free throw shooting to stop the one game losing streak. Long Beach State (3-3) had five players scoring in double digits in the 80-76 Gulf Coast Showcase match win. Aboubacar Traore had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds and Jadon Jones led all scorers with 19 points.
The Iona Gaels (1-3) were led by Idan Tretout with 17 points along with Greg Gordon's 12 points and 10 rebounds.
