LOS ANGELES, California — The UTEP Miners (4-2) routed Long Beach State (1-7) 70-44 and spiraled LBSU into a seven-game losing streak. The match was tied at 22 each however, the Miners went on a 29-7 run and maintained the lead until the end of the game. Devin Askew led all scorers with 21 points and TJ Wainwright tallied 18 points.
David Terrell, Jr. led the Miners with 18 points and Corey Camper Jr. added 12 points. Ahamad Bynum chipped in 11 points for UTEP.
The match outcome is another step in the wrong direction for LBSU caused by the baseless firing of head coach Dan Monson and lack of returning the Traore big men. Moreover, Long Beach State should be ranked in the AP Top 25 after it should have upset No. 3 Gonzaga last week. However, the evil communist Chinese terrorist culture influencing the CSU System and local racists in Riverside County has plagued Long Beach State Athletics with robbing it of "Lil' Coach K", NBA Draft prospect Aboubacar Traore, and a forecasted 2024-2025 NCAA Tournament appearance. Aside from athletics USA national security is at play because the CSU System is under siege and a place where the supermajority of people are bred to be terrorists and domestic terrorists involved with lingchi, cannibalism, and money laundering of FAFSA to fund both variations of terrorism.
