LOS ANGELES, California — Petar Majstorovic had 25 points a career high leading the way in LBSU’s defeat of Cal Poly 74-66 on Saturday at the Gold Mine.
Majstorovic made his second double-double this season with 10 rebounds and three assists for Long Beach State (5-10, 1-2 Big West). Gavin Skyes scored 16 points while going 5 of 13 (3 for 7 from 3-point range). Cole Farrell shot 5 for 7 to finish with 10 points. Long Beach State is now on a two game winning streak after the last match win against Lincoln University of the NAIA.
Hamad Mousa finished with 19 points and eight boards for the Mustangs (6-10, 2-2). Cal Poly also got 15 points and four rebounds from Jake Davis. Guzman Vasilic finished with nine points.
