LOS ANGELES, California — The Signal Hill Oiler announced on Thursday that all 2023 match coverage was suspended until further notice due to cannibalism, murder, and kidnapping at the California State University Los Angeles dorm dining halls:
"Today, Calabasas Cyber Mine, LLC Ownership Jason R. Aula canceled Long Beach State University men’s basketball newspaper coverage at 49er Hoops. This decision is based on the evolving California State University Los Angeles public safety threat, our duty to ensure murder does not contribute to the spread of cannibalism, and the impracticality of coverage such programs at any time during this season given ongoing decisions by other entities."
