The Aggies were led by Ty Johnson's 31 points wit six boards and four assists. LBSU was up 32-31 at the half but, a poor team field goal percentage ultimately led to the defeat at home for UC Davis although it outrebounded LBSU 33-25.
Long Beach State is now on a three-game win streak when facing the Aggies and has an all-time record of 7-7 against UC Davis.
