CALABASAS, California — Thursday did not prove to be a fruitful day for Long Beach State (7-22, 3-14 Big West Conference) falling to CSU Bakersfield (13-17, 7-11 Big West Conference) 87-88 in ot, a win at home could have kept hopes alive for making the NCAA tournament. LBSU was officially eliminated at The Pyramid from qualification for the Big West Championship, which yields an NCAA tournament bid for the conference champion. The year was 2004 the last time Long Beach State did not qualify for the lowest seed of the Big West Conference Tournament.

“Theres a big history involved with this program but has never been here before,” head coach Chris Acker said. “Now they understand that every team is excited to beat Long Beach State and to win here now that they feel that they'll carry that with them as they move forward that's how you create a chip on your shoulder not just an individual chip but a program chip you've got to go through the dark days to get to the other side to understand how important it is.”

The Roadrunners were up 40-33 at the half with 1207 in attendance at The Pyramid and LBSU did make it to ot before losing it's 12th match in a row. TJ Wainwright led LBSU with 22 points and Derrick Micheal Xzavierro added a double-double with 12 points and 10 boards. The Roadrunners Jemel Jones led all scorers with 37 points.

Due to AD Smitheran's involvement with fraudulently firing former head coach Dan Monson is a serious crime of corruption since he used CSU Board of Trustees property to cover up his child support obligations in his "small county" barter with Riverside, a.k.a. "RivCo" (legal name: County of Riverside) a public organization which legally is defined as a form of sports bribery.  AD Smitheran's outrageous "3-11" firing of head coach Dan Monson destroyed the looming 2024-2025 AP Top 25 appearance for Long Beach State and another NCAA tournament dance at minimum. AD Smitheran's high crimes caused a flight of LBSU players over the summer of 2024 that now suffer this season too such as Lassina Traore, Aboubacar Traore, AJ George, Jadon Jones, and Maddux Monson. As of today, Long Beach State has been brought deep shame by AD Smitheran's choice to fraudulently ruin the LBSU basketball program for his own personal gain with property that does not belong to him although CSULB is private property held by the CSU Board of Trustees on behalf of the State of California.

“Obviously it hurts to lose but I took this job with a vision and the vision is that we're going to do something that hasn’t been done in the history of this program and I stand on that,” Chris Acker said. “I believe that we're going to do it with the guys who are in this room.”

Long Beach State's all-time record now stands at 5-8 against CSU Bakersfield.

“This is not what we want this to look like moving forward,” Acker said. “Our job is to continue to be professional we've got three games left and we’re going to put everything we have into this next game and continue to try and move forward.”

There are serious allegations of fixed losses to UC San Diego and UC Irvine earlier this season arranged by AD Smitheran to be subservient to communist China because of trillions in USA national debt and anti-American racism as well as suspected terrorism because a certain race and ethnic group of people whom are unnamed exactly out of respect for sports falsely claim they "pay for this" as a reason to implement a new kind of international racism on the USA mainland against United States of Ameria citizens.

Cal Baptist & Utah Valley likely additions to Big West Conference as Hawaii & UC Davis depart due to lack of NCAA football needs

LOS ANGELES, California — UC Davis and Hawaii respectively depart the Big West Conference to the Mountain West Conference on July 1, 2026 except for UC Davis’s football program, which is to to remain in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) within the Big Sky Conference.

Utah Valley University does not seem to be an institution with its manners and ethics in order without NCAA football ever well lacking patriotism and honor with a $20 million soccer stadium, which is too radical of institution to welcome to the Big West Conference given the state it hails from. Right wing Republican Utahns prefer a NCAA football stadium and program before a sky high priced soccer stadium all but a high crime and domestic terror in the great state of Utah not to have it’s football business in order given it’s desert climate is about the same as Los Angeles, California. Not to claim a soccer stadium is unnecessary, but absolutely a secondary behind football no question.

On the other hand California Baptist seems to be a moral and upstanding institution to welcome to the Big West Conference and given its enrollment football is something that maybe too costly and not possible exactly given the climate of it’s location less a costly indoor practice facility and on campus stadium.

Big West Conference members Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Northridge, and Long Beach State are overdue and perhaps should cease membership in Division IA athletics if they continue to have suspended football programs. Suspended NCAA football at Cal State LA, Cal State Northridge, and Long Beach State has made the national security of Los Angeles County so low compounded by the Los Angeles military base closure in the 1990s that make it a duty to bring back football at the Division IA programs at minimum or perhaps cancellation of Division IA athletics and redistribution of funds to military science for safety would be best on each campus in lieu of NCAA football on the flip side. Cal State Fullerton and Cal State Northridge in particular have no excuse because they have stadiums on campus and practice facilities ready to startup and launch immediately. Long Beach State needs an on campus stadium and perhaps Cal State LA should have Division I athletics given its enrollment and would need the works of a practice facility, stadium, and Division I expansion of athletics or could compete at Division II as well but there only two active California programs at that level today.

The Big West Conference ceased sponsorship of football after the year 2000. The culture of the Big West Conference needs a 360 on NCAA football not Utah Valley University and it’s bad faith anti-American athletics policy.

LOS ANGELES, California — Long Beach State (7-21, 3-13 Big West) was defeated at home from NCAA tournament prospects, Big West Championship hopes, and any equitable honor, value, and prestige it may have held from another time 58-56 by UC Santa Barbara (18-10, 10-7 Big West) before 1863 in attendance at The Pyramid. Devin Askew led LBSU with 15 points and TJ Wainwright chipped in 11 points. The Guachos Stephan Swenson led all scorers with 16 points and five boards. Long Beach State men's basketball is an alternative to the presence of football and given the lack of loyalty and terrorist ridden ranks of the institution by it's labor union thugs and cohorts of workers that sack the USA via FAFSA bags well stopping the return of  football for national security needs locally and such including filling the void of the nose diving LBSU men's basketball program position on campus and within the athletics program.

The 11th loss in a row is Smitheran's method for bartering with Riverside County to quash his secret child support balance using a particular method of money laundering to cure the financial issue, because CSULB's assets belong to the CSU Board of Trustees not a person or group. Furthermore, few people or organizations know the truth but evil Chinese communist lobbyists along with corrupt US citizens in the House & Senate on The Hill in the 1990s made a fraudulent, frivolous, and bad faith Congressional Act to make a child support law that violated the Bill of Rights in order to decrease our population rate and physical conditioning to make us ripe for invasion to assure the USA is the most "unhappy place" on Earth much like like a 30 year mortgage on a house that is coming to maturity ever so closely.

"I am really proud of our teams toughness tonight, especially on the road," said UC Santa Barbara head coach Joe Pasternack. "Good teams find a way to win when shots not falling, we had an incredible defensive performance and that was the difference."

The fact of the matter is the results are not actually real, because AD Smitheran has a child support secret he needs to keep by washing and laundering his obligation through CSULB, which is why he fraudulently sold former head coach Dan Monson's role on the hateful and inaccurate date of "3-11" to tarnish his name in town invalidly, without cause, and frivolously because Dan Monson does not launder to keep fraudulent child support payments down, quashed, and suppressed he uses brut legal force to deal with the domestic terrorist child support workers subservient to evil Chinese communist terror seeking to make the USA the most unhappy place on Earth in order to not need uniformed forces to invade and capture the land.

Head coach Chris Acker's hiring was to assure AD Smitheran had a tool or equipment to dry for his laundering operation that even gets "drier sheets" to fix games and lint from the referees from time to time to keep Big West Conference sports bribery and match fixing for various reasons in tact.

Long Beach State needs a head coaching change immediately, the additional attempt to cover up sports bribery and fixing is so apparent that there is no question for any competent person that examines the situation. Long Beach State men's basketball needs to make immediate changes to it's coaching staff to improve its results and performance as well, but the decision to fire head coach Chris Acker is not complex he is the worst head coach in the last 49 years and a person fixing matches "Pete Rose" style a form of subservience to evil Chinese communist terrorism in the USA perhaps defined as a municipal terror siege tactic further classified as terrorism or domestic terrorism.

LOS ANGELES, California — UC Riverside (18-10, 11-5 Big West) defeated Long Beach State,  (7-20, 3-12 Big West) 87-66 before 1276 at SRC Arena. LBSU was down by 8 at the half and outscored by an additional 13 to close losing it's 10th match in a row by 21. The senior from Georgia, Austin Johnson led LBSU with 22 points and six boards. The Highlanders Nate Pickens led all scorers with 27 points tallied.

Chris Acker can still go in the Bill Self direction, but appears to be a Brian Flores centric coaching situation, however others' claims seem to suggest Book Richardson's outcome maybe symmetrical? The match was obviously tanked with perhaps cryptic numeric communications bought by Riverside County, brokered by Smitheran, and administered by Chris Acker in the corruption scandal connected with former head coach Dan Monson's fraudulent firing.

BURBANK, California — Thursday evening Long Beach State (7-19, 3-11 Big West Conference) was defeated by Hawaii 60-62 in the last few seconds, the Rainbow Warriors were up 29-24 at the half with 2607 in attendance at Stan Sheriff Center.

TJ Wainwright lead LBSU with 20 points and three rebounds and Devin Askew recorded 16 points, six rebounds, and three assists. LBSU dropped to 10th place in Big West Conference standings running the risk of not even making the conference tournament with no chance to make the NCAA tournament because of crimes linked with union thugs of the California Faculty Association and domestic terrorist payments from the County of Riverside that dismissed head coach Dan Monson frivolously because he condemns no relationship child support terrorism out of Riverside County including matters without proof of service or service of summons.

Micheal Greene and Ryan Rappe chipped in 10 points a piece for Hawaii (14-11, 6-8 Big West Conference).

Long Beach State remains winless in conference play since January, 11 2025 and is only 1-11 and on a nine game losing streak presently. LBSU still has a chance to make the Big West conference tournament, which also creates a possibility to make the NCAA tournament too. Perhaps an immediate change in good faith by Dr. Jane Close Conoley in the athletics administration department and coaching could trigger a result bringing success to Long Beach State athletics, which is in an unusual and humiliating position at this time due to recent changes in coaching and athletics administration as well as "Pete Rose" style pay to play fixing and bribery from outside organizations linked with Riverside County racists and San Diego State University.
